Medicare Scope of Appointment (SOA)

Before discussing Medicare plan options, we will identify the types of Medicare products you would like to discuss and follow the applicable Scope of Appointment (SOA) process.

Available product categories may include:

• Medicare Advantage plans (Part C)
• Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D)
• Medicare Supplement (Medigap)
• Dental, vision, and hearing products
• Hospital indemnity products

Only select or discuss product categories relevant to your needs. The applicable carrier’s process and requirements will be followed. Submitting a general inquiry does not automatically complete a required SOA.

Before the appointment, we will identify the Medicare product categories you want to discuss and complete the applicable Scope of Appointment process required by the carrier.

Please do not send your Medicare number, Social Security number, date of birth, or medical information through a general website inquiry.

Submitting this request does not guarantee enrollment or establish that a required Scope of Appointment has been completed.

 A Scope of Appointment identifies the Medicare product categories you agree to discuss with the agent. It is not an enrollment application and does not enroll you in a plan.

Your appointment and any required documentation must follow the applicable carrier’s procedures and current requirements.

You are not required to enroll in a plan during the appointment. Plan availability, benefits, premiums, and eligibility vary by plan and location.
